Built in 1756, the Oval Barn of Saint-Eloy-les-Tuileries has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1996. Property of the Community of Communes, it is one of the last examples of built heritage of this type in the region. Occasional guided tours.

This Romanesque church dates from the 11th and 12th centuries. Do not hesitate to cross the portal of the church to admire the contemporary stained glass windows. These stained glass windows are a creation deeply rooted in the building, in reference to the iconographic tradition of religious buildings from the Middle Ages.

The village and its old noble houses dominated by the imposing remains of the castle constitute a picturesque whole which makes it one of the most beautiful villages in France. Nestled in a loop of the Auvézère and protected by a rocky outcrop, Ségur is, as the toponymy indicates, a 'safe place'. From the 9th century, the construction of a castle gave it its vocation as a stronghold. The construction of two bridges, in the 13th century, allows the extension of the village on the other bank upstream and downstream of the large loop. Until 1750, Ségur was the seat of a court of appeals which received appeals from 361 seigneurial courts. Its architectural richness owes a lot to the many robins (people of dress) attracted to this courtyard.

This oval barn is one of the last examples of built heritage of this type in the three neighboring cantons of Corrèze, Haute-Vienne and Dordogne. Built to the east of the plot bordered to the north by the house and to the south by the pigsty, the building housed under the same thatched roof an area to be threshed and a shed for agricultural equipment, a hayloft, a barn, a stable and a chicken coop. Work has enabled this remarkable building to be restored to its original condition, with the reuse of the various materials present on the building, such as old timber and exterior joinery, if necessary. A cross-border partnership could be formalized for the laying of thatch roofing.
