Unfortunately, I didn't have time for the details due to the tight schedule for transfers in Switzerland.

A very fun and cool location. Refurbished from old objects and beautifully presented. Friendly staff. There's also a lawn for sunbathing, for example, swimming in the Aare.

A very beautiful, straight path along the Wyssacher field with a view of the Alps and, on the other side, the Jura

The Aare-Beizli in Orpund is a good place for a bike break. However, it's worth checking the opening hours and what's on offer beforehand. There are regular events and culinary specials here. On Whit Monday 2025, these were strawberry waffles. Otherwise, there are Zahnderknusperli (sweet toothpaste) and hamburgers. And plenty of aperitif drinks. A lot of effort has gone into making the grounds beautiful, making the terrace a very pleasant place to sit.

Drink a Kilkannan in the pub

From Kreuzackerquai on the south bank of the Aare, you have a beautiful view of the old town opposite. In summer, it's a popular spot for strolling and relaxing by the water.
