From Thionville to the other side

Picnic area on the Moselle

The bike path wasn't properly closed and there was no diversion. You can push your bike across the spot.

The Saarlouis Gate was part of the fortifications of Thionville and guarded the route towards Saarlouis, where the next Vauban fortress was located. At times the gate was even used as a customs house.

On the banks of Yutz, the city has set up a nice corner with benches, picnic tables and play areas for children. In summer, the place turns into Yutz Plage, with a full entertainment program for young and old. This is also the time to take advantage of the snack bars present for the occasion.

Very well developed bike path.

If you walk a few meters down the embankment, you can see them well.

Here you can cycle relaxed along the river.
