The Landsynagoge in Roth is a former synagogue, built in 1833 to replace the old synagogue that had previously burned down. The synagogue was destroyed during the November Pogroms of 1938. In the 1990s, the synagogue was gradually renovated and today serves as a memorial to the victims of the Holocaust in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district, as a learning center for school groups, confirmation groups, and adults, and as a place for cultural encounters.
