A port for numerous boats and a home port for many artists, the port of Honfleur is synonymous with Impressionism. It is also a place steeped in history, local produce, and traditions. Cyclists, stop and explore the surrounding area.

Amazing half-timbered houses! Their architectural style is reminiscent of English houses – or vice versa.

We had a cheese tasting here. Unfortunately, there were only four varieties, but there was enough of each to feed four or more people – so it was more of a cheese feast than a tasting. So there's still room for improvement! – the cheese was excellent, by the way.

There's a bike path, of course. But I strongly advise against using it, it's so dangerous!!! Narrow path, not separated from the roadway by cars. They and trucks don't slow down and constantly brush past you. Not to mention the wind and the blast from passing trucks that almost knock you over, even on foot! Because yes, I got off my bike to walk (the sidewalk was well separated from the rest of the road this time) after thinking I was going to die several times in less than a minute. So, avoid it by bike, but you can use it by getting off your bike and using the pedestrian crossing. Perhaps feasible on days or times when there's less traffic?

From Pont l'Eveque to the Eden Park Hotel there is a beautiful, easy-to-ride path along the Touques River and the Lac de Pont l'Eveque.
