An Ardèche® Village of Character nestled in the hollow of a green valley, on the banks of the Doux. From its royal past, it has preserved the Bailiff's house (former court building) and the medieval bridge, listed as Historic Monuments.

Small village of Ardèche, Colombier-le-Vieux takes place on the edge of the Massif Central. To see: the castle of Belle Comble, built from the 13th century and listed as a Historic Monument; the fortified house of Ruissas, also listed as a Historic Monument. Built in the 16th century, at the beginning of the Wars of Religion, it underwent major transformations a century later. This building, representative of the seigniorial and rural habitat in Vivarais, is only visible from the outside. Do not miss to admire the 19th century Saint-Martin church, or the King's bridge (listed as a Historic Monument) which crosses the Doux.

Nestled in the heart of a meander of the Daronne, the hamlet of Saint-Sorny is a natural setting where calm reigns supreme. The small Romanesque chapel is remarkable in this preserved setting classified as a Sensitive Natural Area.

Cabled suspended footbridge over the Daronne. Turn left, just after the footbridge, back and forth, for 100m, for the view.

A very small museum at the end of the steam locomotive Train de l'Ardeche route. Unfortunately closed on Monday. It was open again on Tuesday and the steam locomotives were prepared for their journey.
