Evaux-les-Bains, with this beautiful mural, is advertising itself. It is, as its name indicates, a spa village. Hydrotherapy has been practiced here since Roman times, but reached its peak at the beginning of the 20th century. There is a lot of art deco in Evaux, located in the heart of Combraille. Art lovers from this period, have fun discovering the many visible works, particularly in the layout of certain bourgeois houses.

The Fades dam is the largest dam in the Sioule valley. This impressive structure, built in 1968, holds up to 69 million cubic meters of water and powers a hydroelectric power station. From the top of the dam, you can admire the view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Along the way, you may encounter wild animals, such as deer, foxes or birds of prey.

From this bridge you can enjoy a stunning viewpoint and view of the lake.

Don't miss the Maison de la Combraille, a fun and interactive space dedicated to the territory of the same name. Beautiful abbey and imposing keep in the heart of the village.
