It is a 15th century fortress located on a rocky outcrop 475 meters above the surrounding plains. In 1936, a count donated the castle to the State. It is one of the most remarkable fortified castles in the region. Built on a Gallo-Roman site, we can still guess, about fifty meters east of the current castle, the location of the primitive fortification. The castle is now private property and cannot be visited.
