The castle, which is now private, is worth a look for its neo-classical architecture and its French gardens which contrast with the more rustic style of the villages of Haut-Doubs.

Ancien collège industriel, La Chaux-de-Fonds Old technical college - you leave the tower and go under the building complex to the left of the café "Le Forum". From the upper part of the street you can see the former Collège industriel. The building was built in 1876 and was the largest in the town at the time. This is where Le Corbusier earned his first spurs. Temple-Allemand, La Chaux-de-Fonds German Church - It was built as the second Protestant church in La Chaux-de-Fonds and is a reminder of the importance of the German-speaking Swiss who immigrated in the 19th century (up to a third of the population). Today, cultural events are held in the neo-Gothic nave, which was built in 1853 and given a tower in 1881.
