The Church of Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul is a Catholic parish church located in Jaux, in the Oise department, France. It was built, for its oldest parts, in the 12th century. Following the ravages of the Hundred Years' War, the building was partly rebuilt in the 16th century. The Abbey of Notre-Dame and Saint-Jean-Baptiste of Saint-Jean-aux-Bois is located in the heart of the Compiègne forest, in the village of Saint-Jean-aux-Bois, in the Oise. It was founded in 1152 as an abbey of Benedictine nuns by Queen Adelaide of Savoy (widow of Louis VI). In 1220, the abbey was given a new Gothic-style church.
