the start is not St Chely Aubrac but Aubrac 7 km from Nasbinals. St chely much further! quiet itinerary without difficulties. a word of advice start in the opposite direction of the indicated easier for beginners.

The Neck de Belvezet is a rather strange geological curiosity, it is a resurgence of a volcanic chimney. Placed on the GR65 from Aubrac to St Chely it is a beautiful place. Many hikes converge there. Its name means Bellevue/Beauvoir, indeed from the promontory there is a very beautiful panorama towards the south.

This pretty town is one of the "Most Beautiful Villages of France". The city has kept its medieval charm thanks to the doors still visible at the entrances, its church with its flamed bell tower and the colorful facades of the buildings around the town.

A must-see on the great hikes of the Chemins de Saint-Jacques, the village is nestled in the heart of the valley carved out by the Boralde. The bridge used by the many walkers dates from the 16th century and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Saint-Côme d'Olt is on the list of the most beautiful villages in France. This title is well deserved. The medieval heart of the village is superb. It is made up of houses forming a protective circle around its magnificent tort church (with its twisted bell tower) as well as around its castle. The latter is flanked by two towers. These towers, built around 1366, had a double storey of defense. Its south facade, of the Renaissance type, was unfortunately transformed to serve as a religious boarding school during the 19th century.
