Everything is nestled in an idyllic valley. The village above is a bit sleepy, but charming. Since we were completely alone here, we liked it better than the more touristy Tours de Merle.

In the heart of the Aveyron gorges, this picturesque stone bridge served a Gallo-Roman road linking Rodez to Cahors. Preserved natural setting. Hiking trail (GR 62 B). This ancient way allowed the movement of cattle, goods as well as ore extracted from the mines of the region of La Bastide l'Evêque. The bridge, an ambitious urban marker or a modest means of crossing a river or a river, was attached to seigneurial rights.
