This cross is located on the site of the old cemetery of the village of Saint-Allouestre. The step bears the date 1774. It has been listed as a Historic Monument since March 30, 1934.

No tips, just enjoyed the solid Mairie building and the fine-looking bar-tabac nearby. Noyal-Pontivy is reached by some lovely, very quiet roads from Pontivy.

A wide variety of goods were available from a food truck. Unfortunately, the coffee, which had been kept warm, wasn't very good. But the homemade cakes were delicious.

This beautiful water town, famous for its Château des Rohans, is located in Argoat. That is to say in the very center of the Breton peninsula. It is a city which has preserved the Napoleonic memory of the great works carried out during the reign of the emperor. The Blavet is experiencing spectacular floods here which have left their mark on the inhabitants. The most recent ones date from January 1995 and February 2014.
