The Berg rest area near Kittsee is part of the hiking trail to the Königswarte and is located on the way from Kittsee to Berg. It is located just before the town of Berg and is reminiscent of a former road and tank barrier. The rest area is easily accessible and can be used as a stopover on a hike to the Königswarte or as a destination for a shorter hike. From here, you can also enjoy the view of the vineyards and wind farms. This rest area also includes an adjacent children's playground, which includes this climbing wall.

I have also been there several times and could not resist the sweet temptations.

The Roman Catholic parish church of Kittsee is located at the northern end of the municipality of Kittsee in the Neusiedl am See district of Burgenland. It is dedicated to the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and belongs to the Neusiedl am See deanery in the Diocese of Eisenstadt. The building is a listed monument.

Kittsee Castle is located on the outskirts of the town center. Surrounded by a park, this Baroque castle is one of the most important sights in northern Burgenland. It was built as a farmstead in the early 17th century before being enlarged and expanded into a palace complex under Johann Listy, a Transylvanian native. Another major renovation took place in the mid-18th century, when Prince Paul Anton Esterházy had it rebuilt in the Baroque style.

This is where the factory outlet of the local confectionery factory is located. Fresh and affordable is the motto, and this pays off, as the shop is always well-visited by guests from both the local area and further afield.

Well, the view from the top of the tower is roughly the same as from below. There's a rest area in front of the tower. But you can also wait inside the tower until the rain stops, if necessary.

Unfortunately, the village inn has been closed for a few years now. The building has been renovated and is no longer a pub.
