Another very beautiful fortified church

At the height of Neuve-Maison, in the direction of Guise

St. Peter's Church is a masterpiece of Baroque architecture. It is characterized by its gigantic proportions, sumptuous decorations and sculptures. One of the most remarkable features of the church is its dome, which is the largest dome in the world. The dome was designed by Michelangelo and it measures 43 meters in diameter and 136 meters high. The interior of the church is also remarkable. The nave is wide and bright, and it is lined with side aisles. The choir is deep and narrow, and it is topped by a dome. The church also houses a number of valuable works of art, including a gilded bronze canopy, a papal throne and a papal altar.

Raid VTT des 3 Rivières is a cycling event that takes place in the region of Thiérache, France 1. The event has been taking place since 1999 and offers different routes for mountain bikers, hikers, and road cyclists. The Ax Vert de la Thiérarche is a former railway line that has been converted into a cycling and walking path. The trail of almost 40 kilometers runs from Guise to Hirson, via Autreppes, and offers a pleasant and peaceful environment for walking, cycling and horse riding. The path runs along the banks of the Oise River and offers beautiful views of the natural and cultural heritage of the Thiérache.
