The Hôtel-Dieu was founded in the 13th century by Gauthier de Maintenay. The hospital and chapel have been run by the Augustinian sisters since 1252 and were badly affected by the mysterious natural disaster of 1467. The sanctuary was rebuilt and consecrated in 1475. All that remains from the 15th century is the flamboyant portal.

The original St. Michael's Church dates from the 13th century and was a cruciform church with an octagonal crossing tower, but it was destroyed during the bombing of 15 June 1944. A new church was built between 1955 and 1960, designed by Clément Tambuté and Pierre Requier. It is characterised by the special incidence of light. Of interest is a large stained glass window in concrete depicting the creation.

Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, nicknamed simply Le Touquet, is a magnificent seaside resort in Pas-de-Calais. Renowned for its fine sandy beaches, golf courses and elegant villas, it attracts many visitors throughout the year. Several cycle paths allow you to visit the city.

Here, there is a series of artworks and sculptures, including “BLACK MAN” by Bruno Catalano. Take a stroll and let yourself be transported by these artistic manifestations.

Montreuil is a royal citadel built in the 16th century on the foundations of an ancient castle. You can explore the citadel and its fortifications, admire the architecture and views of the Canche valley, and discover the history of the site. You can also visit the museum located inside the citadel, which features exhibits on the military and natural heritage of the region.

Étaples Military Cemetery, France, is the largest Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery in France. It contains the graves of more than 11,000 soldiers from different countries who died during the First and Second World Wars. You can learn about the history of the cemetery and the stories of some of the people buried there by reading the information boards at the entrance and along the paths. The cemetery is located near the coast, allowing you to enjoy the view of Canche Bay and the cool breeze. The cemetery is open daily from dawn to dusk and entry is free.
