And take a detour to the Base de Plein Air du Salagou to rent a pedal boat, a paddle, or any other sailing craft! Tip: in the early morning or at the end of the day, there is a rush of crayfish on the beach of Clermont... The crayfish of Salagou are red and pretty, like the edges of the lake. But they are invasive American crayfish that take a little too much of their ease... Catching them is allowed, and even highly recommended! Fried on the plancha with a little aioli and a good white wine from Estabel, it is useful for biodiversity, and delicious.
