The Montreuil-sur-Maine cave is a replica of the famous Lourdes cave in the Pyrenees. The cave was built in 1898 by five young girls inspired by the beauty of the site and the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to Bernadette Soubirous. The cave is located on the banks of the Mayenne, where you can also admire the old mill and the lock which regulate the flow of water.
