A wonderful road between St-Denis-du-Payré and Chasnais. Unlike the roads towards the coast, this one is a bit more varied: winding, undulating, and shady. Very beautiful!

A wonderful road from Saint-Michel-en-l'Herm to the Atlantic. It's relatively quiet here, and the "mountain village" of La Dive is a lovely eye-catcher.

A paved dirt road leads out of Grues. Many gravel paths to the left and right, with this one being a pleasant exception. The southern end also continues on paved roads. A virtually traffic-free alternative to the D44. A curious feature in Grues: half a VW Beetle on the barn wall.

This picturesque village is a perfect place for a break and refreshments. There are several restaurants and a nice café Tea room "Les Rives Enchan'thé just after the bridge. (The café is open every day from 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. except Sunday and Monday).
