Very nice climb. Not too difficult, not too long. I stayed at the col a few years ago, so on every ride I had to climb this col. Always done with great pleasure.

I don't know how it is defined as a gorge. Still a great landscape, I only know it as Valleé de la Roanne. Spectacular views with rocks, there is a bit more traffic here.

Located at the foot of the Trois Becs massif, Saillans is the gateway to Diois, the Drôme Pre-Alps. To discover: a Romanesque church from the 12th century, a Protestant temple from the 19th century, as well as a marble stele dating from Voconces in front of the Tourist Office. Narrow streets, the viols, take you straight to the old gates and towers of the ramparts, the Pont gate, the Moulin gate, the new Veronne gate, the new tower, the Beaucastel tower and the Mayor tower. The town hall council chamber is listed as a Historic Monument.
