In early 2018, the Méaudret Gorge inaugurated this section built on stilts to preserve the wetland it crosses. Here, it is recommended to drive more slowly. This is an opportunity to enjoy the natural surroundings.

I prefer the road option, but the Gorges cannot be compared to the Bourne Gorge that follows. Still a beautiful landscape.

Stunning Bourne Gorges that sometimes have a very narrow path under the rock. To do it by bike if you are a cyclist, park in St Nazaire en Royans, stop at Pont en Royans, then slowly climb the gorges to enjoy the view, it is magnificent, on the way back go through St Julien and go down the Goulets. It's worth the detour. In summer, early in the morning, you will be in the shade, and when it is very windy on the plain, you will not feel it.

Impressive gorge with overhanging walls, tunnels blasted into the rock and fantastic views. The incline is pleasant.
