Very beautiful preserved village.

It is an artificial lake of 3.2 million m3 of water which is only held back by an earth dam.

A cute village of white stone. The twisty narrow streets and town center have been used in the shooting of a number of movies including "The Hundred Foot Journey" and "Charlotte Gray". There are a plethora of local cafes and restaurants as well as local shops should you be tempted by some local snack.

These serene and peaceful ponds are home to many birds with wetlands and wooded areas. Moreover, a large colony of geese enjoyed it so much that they stayed there!

The park is a great place for running, with plenty of benches for breaks and waterside trails.
