There wasn't really much to see on the site itself, as much of it was cordoned off.

You follow the watershed line by rolling on the ridge. When it falls on one side of the dividing line, a drop of rain feeds the slope on the North Sea side. Falling on the other side, the rain feeds the Mediterranean Sea side.

At this point, the track lies on a narrow strip of land between the Moselle and the Vosges Canal. The configuration offers the pleasant feeling of being in the middle of nowhere.
