The Vidourle Gates are a flood protection structure near Aigues-Mortes, where the Canal du Rhône à Sète crosses the Vidourle River. During heavy rain, massive flood gates – so-called "vidourlades" – can close here to prevent flooding. The site is easily accessible and a popular destination for walks or bike rides. Circular trails from Aigues-Mortes lead along the canal through a diverse landscape with pine forests, streams, and birdwatching opportunities. The routes are easy to walk, well signposted, and approximately 6–8 kilometers long. Access is free, and parking is available, for example, at the Pont Rouge. Ideal for anyone who wants to experience nature, technology, and a piece of regional history.

A relatively short but extremely fun and beautiful section (around 700m) between the Carbonnière Tower and the Mas Cachemire, below the D46. In dry and not too busy weather it would be a shame to miss out on this narrow section which winds through the marshes and offers an original low-angle view of the Carbonnière Tower. Note that at this level, access to the path is via a footbridge and several steps and can be difficult with a loaded touring bike or an e-bike.

A minimally technical single track, preferably taken from East to West

More than 10 kilometers of happiness, to admire the many birds and Camargue cows. The path is easy to access but can be tiring for the less fit. The path runs along the fishermen's and hunters' huts and their boats, a timeless atmosphere. You can enjoy admirable views of the Etang de l'Or and the Pic Saint-Loup further north.
