The waterfall starts even higher and is said to be over 1,000 m high. Legend says: Long ago, a rich man fell in love with a young girl from humble beginnings. The 152-meter-long bridge was built in 1893 and was in use until 1979. Restoration work began at the end of 2021 and lasted over 20 months. On December 22, 2023, the bridge was fully reopened to pedestrians and cyclists after the renovation was completed. The extensive restoration included, among other things, the replacement of the wooden pavement, the renewal of the joints of the stone walls, the complete replacement of the support cables, the removal of asbestos and the renewal of the metal bridge deck.
