Leubnitz-Neuostra Church in Dresden. Info: A religious building, it is one of the oldest churches in the city and was built on a hill in the village of Leubnitz. The date of the first church in Leubnitz is unknown.

Definitely recommended, although it is a bit narrow and you have to watch out for the railings that suddenly appear and extend over half the roadway!!!

Kreischa Village Church. Info: This church, situated on a hillside with a tall rectangular tower on the north side, probably dates back to a Romanesque building from the 12th century and was rebuilt in 1516. It is of architectural and local historical significance, as well as being a significant feature of the townscape. A sandstone epitaph, "Christ in Gethsemane," is located next to the portal.

There are several pedestrian bridges over the Weißeritz, and the riverbed is 3 meters high and blooming with greenery and flowers. It's beautiful to look at, but it seems that people in Freital have largely forgotten the flood of 2002 and the events surrounding the raging and destructive Weißeritz at that time.

Tharandt is beautifully situated in the valley, and the lovingly restored houses provide a wonderful backdrop.

Going uphill is a beautiful and relaxing alternative to the main road. Going downhill isn't much fun, though; I'd rather take the main road.
