I suggest visiting this highlight by taking the dirt road that starts far upstream and not by doing the DH trail!!!! that runs along the side of the Mont Dauphin hill.

This tour should only be advertised for MTBs. Not feasible with a touring bike! I had an e-bike with wide tires and had to dismount and push in some passages. The location of the lake and the lake itself reward the effort.
