A very stately church with a Romanesque portal and a Gothic nave. It testifies to the once great importance of Marmoutier, a town that is now a rather tranquil place.

Marmoutier Abbey is probably one of the oldest in Alsace. According to tradition, it was founded in 589 by the Irish monk Leonard on land donated by King Childebert II. The monastery then took the name of its founder: Leobardi Cella. Throughout its history, the abbey experienced alternating periods of decline and prosperity. Destroyed by fires and damaged during conflicts several times, it always rose from its ruins until its dissolution during the French Revolution (...) A very nice route, with not too much traffic

The Bee Fountain was built for the Neuburg Monastery between 1760 and 1777. It has been in its current location since 1886. In the center of the fountain is a column with a beehive and four putti.

The Palais du Rhin, formerly the Imperial Palace, on the Place de la République in Strasbourg, was built between 1884 and 1889 and is one of the city's most striking buildings. The entire complex represents one of the most complete examples of German monumental architecture of the late 19th century.
