climb to Cazaubon church

33 kilometers from Eauze to Condom on the old railway line that connected the two towns. Only a 3.6 kilometer section uses small roads to bypass the Pomiro railway tunnel which is closed. The entire route is paved. Excellent alternative to the main road, with its much too dense traffic.

The highest point in the region. Extraordinary view of the Pyrenees, from the Basque Country to Ariège.

8km of cycle path to Èauze, on the route of an old railway line and therefore flat, to go at full speed!

Cazaubon dates back to the Gallo-Roman era. Just over the other side of the Lac de l'Uby is a Spa town/area. There are public toilets and water access at the church in the center of Cazaubon.

Small town in the Pays d'Auch, known for its Feria de la Pentecôte, the Pentecotavic, during which a superb festival of brass bands takes place. To see: the Chapter Tower, the Cordeliers convent, the arenas and the few half-timbered houses that remain in the town centre.
