Great church building, unfortunately the church was closed

A very busy and touristy town with many wine bars and restaurants. An excellent place to spend a day.

The 1,400-meter-long inner wall of the old town was equipped with around twenty towers and four gates. The wide path along the fortifications is now used as a promenade. Here, you can take a peaceful stroll along the old city wall and sit on a bench in the shade of the large trees and enjoy the peace and quiet.

The parish church, built in 1771 in Ottrott-le-Haut, is dedicated to Saints Simon and Jude and features the characteristics of 17th-century Alsatian churches. In 1793, Silbermann organs from the Collegiate Church of St. Leonard were installed there. Numerous concerts were held there, to the great delight of music lovers.

This old station embodies the history of the old Saint-Nabor quarry railway line. It was first built to transport and evacuate the stones extracted from the quarry and then was connected to the rest of the regional rail network for passengers.

Very beautiful church with simple furnishings but very beautiful stained glass windows.
