Very popular sanctuary in summer, accommodation available

The Gorges de l'Infernet is a spectacular canyon carved by the Souloise River, offering you a spectacle of steep rock formations and lush vegetation. You'll hike along narrow, steep gorges, with towering cliffs and striking geological features providing an impressive backdrop. Along the trail, you may even spot local wildlife, such as peregrine falcons and wild goats.

Magnificent Switchbacks! Real mountain road. When you arrive from Devoluy, discovering the view of Champsaur is absolutely magnificent. The descent is also very beautiful and fun but beware it remains a pass open to traffic even if the latter remains very light.

The Col de Noyer is a French mountain pass that separates the valleys of Champsaur and the Dévoluy region, in the Hautes-Alpes department. At an altitude of 1664 m, it is located between the Pic Ponsin and the Tête du Tourneau. It crosses the eastern ridge of the Dévoluy limestone massif.

Saint-Bonnet-en-Champsaur, a charming village in the Hautes-Alpes, overlooks the Drac. It offers a peaceful setting with its varied accommodation, such as campsites and B&Bs, as well as several restaurants. Perfect for nature lovers, it is an ideal starting point for exploring the Écrins National Park.
