A very pretty chapel, and its priory

Pretty long pass on the Tarare side with a constant slope around 5%. Delimits the watershed line between the Rhône and the Loire. Do not hesitate to climb to Mont Boussuivre by extending a few hundred meters and climb to the top of the Matagrin tower to enjoy a magnificent view of the whole region.

Small village of Affoux, with a very beautiful view of the Monts du Lyonnais and Mont Blanc on a clear day.

Very pretty village of Montrottier, in the Monts du Lyonnais. To see: the portal of the former 15th century Priory, the Halles created under the 14th century, the rue des Remparts and its traboule. Every year, the egg festival is held there at Easter, a huge egg hunt organized by the inhabitants.

Fortified medieval village. You can still see three emblematic fortified towers at the gates of the village: the Magna Porta Tower, the Egg Tower and the Cotton Tower.

Current textile and tie museum and third place under construction. Located near the old monorail railway line, which was to link Panissières to Feurs, at the request of the textile industries of the time. The place is under renovation and closed until 2023.
