For having been the largest boatman's village in Eastern France, the municipality and the Circle of Ancient Boatmen have created a museum in a barge installed in the heart of the city. We discuss the history and traditions linked to navigation on the canals. Moored at the Quai des Bateliers, this barge-museum presents a large collection of objects, documents and models retracing the history, techniques and mode life of the inland waterway. The museum is open from May 1 to September 30 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and by appointment throughout the rest of the year. Audio guides in German only (included in the entrance fee). Explanatory signs in German.

Located on the Rhine cycle route, this charming town has been awarded three times in the competition for towns and villages in bloom. Its prettily decorated half-timbered houses make it a fine example of an Alsatian village.

Former World War II bunker of the Maginot Line - today the local rifle club is probably at home here.
