ガロ・ローマ時代よりも前のものと思われる、非常にドーム型の古代ローマ街道と見なされているこの舗装された道。19世紀の学者は、これをナント（ナムネテス族の首都）とコルシュル（コリソリテス族の首都）を結ぶ道と見ていました。 中世には利用され、ベスレの渡し場の近くの沼地での通行を可能にしていました。 特に、特定の季節には植生に覆われてしまうため、この道が十分に活用されていないのは残念です。

伝説によれば、この場所は、夕べの祈りに行く代わりに荒野で踊っていた若い娘たちが石に変えられた場所だとされています。 この伝説は、当時のブルターニュ地方（Haute Bretagne）に多く見られた異教に対抗するため、17世紀に教会によって作られました。

The cycle path along the Vilaine is truly a MUST! It runs directly along the river and has many locks. At each of the locks, there are beautifully maintained guardhouses, some of which are even kitsch. The cycle path doesn't stray more than 10 meters from the river and has a very well-maintained surface. I had the pleasure of following it for over 40 kilometers.

Located in the town of Bain sur Oust, it is the place of the meeting of Nominoë and Conwoïon who brought the body of Saint Marcellin from Rome to the Saint Sauveur de Redon abbey. This trèviale chapel fell into ruin, the primitive Romanesque building was rebuilt from 1945

A private property, a beautiful half-castle, half-manor. It is sometimes possible to visit the garden. If it is not opened, the gate will be closed and there will be a sign in front of the entrance.

Megalithic monuments, menhirs are rocks erected by man, either for road signs or as tombs. This set of stones is called "Les demoiselles" and there is an explanatory panel tracing the history of this site.

The Gannedel marsh was formed where the Canut joins the Vilaine, and is today classified as a natural zone of ecological fauna and flora interest (ZNIEFF), welcoming more than a hundred species of birds throughout the year.

At La Chapelle-de-Brain in the Pays de Redon, the natural area of the Gannedel marshes promises a pleasant walk between reedbeds, wet meadows and bodies of water. A circuit fitted out with footbridges and observatories facilitates the exploration of the site of great ecological value.
