Magnificent path which opens onto the meadows of wild flowers and grasses at the summit of the Col de Finiels.

Le Bleymard is perched at an altitude of 1,100 meters. This town located at the foot of Mont-Lozère is known in particular for its ski resort but also for the numerous hikes that surround it. Here shops and lodgings enliven the small town.

This unguarded refuge suggests a nice break. And the water fountain there allows you to refuel.

Attached to the commune of Pont de Montvert, the picturesque hamlet of Finiels is located on the foothills of the eponymous mountain.

This abandoned hamlet is called Serreméjan and the nearby stream is also called that. Unfortunately, I have not found any information about this place. I assume that agriculture was no longer profitable in this mountainous area.

Le Bleymard, on the banks of the Lot at the foot of Mont Lozère and the summit of Finiels, is an important stopover for hikers. Indeed, the village is located at the crossroads of several GR: GR7, GR70 (Stevenson path), GR68 and GR44.
