The Castellu di Cucuruzzu is the most important archaeological site in Corsica. Nestled at 700 meters above sea level, it dates back to the Bronze Age. It is possible to visit it for €4.

Rather without a bike 😉. But rather on foot

Located south of the Aiguilles de Bavella, the pass is one of the four great passes of Corsica. Emblematic passage of the GR 20, it has many accommodation and catering solutions, but above all exceptional viewpoints!

In Corsica, this waterfall is known as the Cascade des Sapins and reaches a spectacular height of 60 meters. Very popular tourist destination.

The massif of Bavella and its famous needles are located in the heart of the Alta Rocca region and peak at more than 1,899 meters. The Bavella pass, meanwhile, is 1,218 meters above sea level. The road that leads to the pass, when there are no clouds, offers one of the most beautiful panoramas of Corsica. Here the nickname of the island of beauty given to Corsica takes on its full meaning.

Unfortunately, the last stretch to the waterfall, after the platform, has been closed. That's why we didn't dare to go any further and so we climbed onto a rock to the left of the platform to get a better view. Unfortunately, of course, it's not that spectacular. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful hike that is definitely worth it.
