The Maroeuil Marsh natural area offers a pleasant walk along the Scarpe River, with interesting flora and fauna. The signposting is illustrated by the small Vertigo de Des Moulins snail, which you can try to spot on the marsh plants.

From the top of a hill, the panorama from Mont-Saint-Eloi extends over the entire Scarpe valley and the Artois plain. The village is known for the ruins of its abbey, and the two towers dominate the surrounding landscape.

To think that soldiers took refuge behind the church and left a trace of themselves for our freedom 🕊️ by leaving us these graffiti. This mill was made famous by the film “We found the 7th company” in 1975 when the soldiers Tassin, Pithiviers and Chaudard found themselves stuck there. This bucolic place offers a unique setting.
