This small tower stands on the site of the castle's former vegetable garden.

Nice and good bike path

Nice bike path to the chateau. The route to the Etang de Gondrexange suggested by Komoot was however not mobile. So you have to drive all the way back.

The facades and roofs listed as Historic Monuments. Chapel and listed helical staircase. Relaxation area nearby.

The castle of Geroldseck is mentioned around 1200 for the first time under the name Steinsal. It was repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt and received its present name after the noble Johann von Geroldseck († 1359). It was finally demolished by François de Créquy in 1677. The castle ruins with moat are still clearly visible today, the driveway for about a 800m long, gravel road.
