A place with a historical background that has been beautifully arranged with some works of art and subtle lighting.

Visited on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation by the US forces in March 1945. Michel Klein is a knowledgeable and caring curator of all the memorabilia donated by American and French families whose fathers, brothers, and uncles died and/or survived the conflicts that took place.

Porte de Strasbourg - The Strasbourg Gate (1859) This gate is the only remaining part of the city's last fortification system. It was a drawbridge gate, and bullet holes from wars of the past two centuries are still visible. On the upper side of the gate is Memorial Room 39-45, which can be visited. Very quiet and pleasant to walk around.

There are several parking lots near the pond and we always found a space.

Very large playground, even adults can go inside to accompany young children. There are several slides and lots of very fun corners for children.

There are quite a few picnic tables around the pond and the playground. There is always room.
