Saverne is a great city. The square in front of the castle with its cafés, but also the pedestrian zone with its shops and restaurants or the harbor and the view of the castle. Saverne is a city with a very special charm and always worth a visit. ❤️👍👍👍❤️

Lützelstein Castle was built at the end of the 12th century by Count Hugo, a son of Count Hugo of Blieskastel. It later belonged to the Electorate of the Palatinate. You can walk through the moat and there is a small shop in the tourist information office with products from the region.

Good café-restaurant with very tasty food. Very friendly hosts who speak French, German and English. Open all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday, kitchen open until 3 p.m. and from 7 p.m.
