The Château de Vendôme is a magnificent hiking destination. As you climb the hill, you're rewarded with breathtaking views of the town and beyond. The walk is short and strenuous, but well worth the effort. You'll be surrounded by the castle ruins, which are not accessible but provide a perfect spot to relax and soak up the atmosphere. Don't forget your camera to capture the ambiance and stunning views!

The Saint-Georges Gate marks the entrance to the town when crossing the Loir from the south. Its construction dates from the 14th century, although some elements were added later. From the bridge, you can admire the machicolations, medallions and ornamental sculptures present on the structure.
