Dont be put off by the modern concrete exterior of the V&A. Its very nice inside and worth a visit.

The V&A Dundee is the first design museum in Scotland and the first Victoria and Albert Museum outside London. It is also the first building in the United Kingdom designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed on Tuesdays from November to March. Admission is free. In fact, there are only a limited number of rooms that can be visited with a guided tour. No photos except for one room and after the tour you are elegantly led through a café. Otherwise there is a visitor center/shop where you can invest your money in souvenirs. If you still have a little time, you can make your way to the Walled Garden, which is a few minutes away and is very beautiful and well-kept.
