The cycle path along the Loire is well developed and very nice to ride.

Remarkable structure 343m long and comprising 18 arches. It allows the Loire lateral canal to pass above the Allier. Downstream, you can see the Bec d'Allier, a natural site at the confluence of the waters of the Allier and the Loire, classified by the WWF. This unique environment is home to many animal species.

This canal belongs to a long network that runs along the Loire. If they were dedicated to trade for a long time, the canals are now used by boaters.

About 12 km after Nevers begins the official Loir cycle path, which leads to Nantes.

The official Loire cycle path begins shortly after Nevers (approx. 12 km). This then leads to Nantes (EV6).
