From Les Ruinettes, steep and rocky, at least the 'direct' path is.

The Cleuson Dam rises with its pronounced curves, creating a stunning backdrop to the Alpine landscape. As you reach the top, take the time to admire the turquoise waters held back by the imposing dam structure, which contrasts beautifully with the rugged mountainous surroundings. The view over the Val de Nendaz is simply spectacular and the effort of the climb is well worth it.

The lake is incredibly pure.

An open and grassy pass, a window between La Tzoumaz and Verbier, two regions offering legendary courses. The pass is accessible via a varied network of trails and offers an exciting driving experience with diverse characteristics. You will experience perfect alpine views from here, making it an ideal and accessible vantage point from which to observe the endless sea of rocky peaks of the Valais region.

A wild and isolated mountain lake, hidden in the shadow of Mont Fort. The lake is filled with deep, turquoise waters, filled with meltwater from the surrounding rocky peaks - it's going to be cold, so I don't recommend diving there!

Ski resort of Siviez at 1,700m altitude, its the highest village belonging to Nendaz. You can cycle all the way up, enjoying the views of the Swiss Valais!

In winter, the Col des Mines is an iconic freeride classic in Verbier; in summer it's a slightly different beast, but it's still a beautiful and relatively easy-to-access place to enjoy the mountain atmosphere and admire the views, perhaps even for a picnic. The pass offers an excellent view over Verbier itself and is an excellent access point for the nearby Lac des Vaux.
