The Podersdorf lighthouse on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl in Podersdorf am See is one of the few lighthouses in the Republic of Austria. It is also one of the southernmost lighthouses in the entire German-speaking world.

The "Walk of Fame" in Neusiedl am See is part of the "Square of Champions" near the lake, a kind of athletes' promenade where handprints of successful athletes from the region are immortalized, such as water sports athletes Valentin Bontus, Calvin Claus, and Angelika Kohlendorfer. It is a popular starting point for hikes and walks around Lake Neusiedl, which are also listed as a "Walk of Fame" on hiking apps like Komoot.

With a covered rest area. The Lange Lacke is the largest of the more than 40 saline pools in the Seewinkel National Park. Its water level fluctuates considerably throughout the year, as it is fed solely by rainwater. Sometimes it even dries out completely. These peculiarities also make it a paradise for waterfowl, which you can easily observe from the observation tower. Don't forget your binoculars!

On the edge of the Apetlon Lange Lacke

This pretty windmill isn't located in Holland, but in Podersdorf. It's approximately 160 years old and a listed building. Since there are no rivers in the area that could power a mill wheel, people built windmills to grind their grain. There used to be seven such structures in the Seewinkel region; today, only this one remains.
