The church of Arosio, dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel, is a building dating back to before the year 1000. In the church square you can also admire a fourteenth-century baptistery and the sundial from 1664. Near the church there is one of the few fountains in the area.

Along the chestnut path there are 7 educational points marked on the ground and numerous information on the processing and use of wood respectively of the chestnut and its derivatives.

Monte Induno is one of the peaks of Alto Melcatone, in the Caton Ticino. It dominates the village of Arosio, located in the foothills and is characterized by its chestnut woods.

Ponte Capriasca is a village located in the district of Lugano which hosts one of the best known representations of the Last Supper (very widespread in religious buildings in Italian Switzerland), a copy of Leonardo da Vinci's Supper in S. Maria delle Grazie in Milan, performed by one of his students, Cesare da Sesto.

The small town of Origlio deserves a walk through the streets of the nucleus and around the lake.
