Beautiful area with great views.

The Capitello breach is one of the most impressive passages of the GR 20. At an altitude of 2,073 meters, this passage provides exceptional panoramas of the Capitello and Melo lakes, as well as the Restonica valley.

The path winds through beautiful beech trees and leads to Bocca Palmentu. This passage offers a clear view of the east of the island and a beautiful panorama of Monte d'Oru.

La Bocca alla Porte is one of the most impressive passages of the GR 20. At around 2,200 meters above sea level, this passage is reached by means of a steep climb from the Manganu refuge. La Bocca delivers exceptional panoramas on the lakes of Capitello and Melo, as well as the valleys which it separates.

With its 1,311 meters of altitude, the Col de Sorba is one of my favorite passes in Southern Corsica. The surface is exceptional, as is the beauty of the landscapes. The descent, whether on one side or another of the pass, provides an unspeakable pleasure. Landscapes of mountains and forests pass by at the right speed, thanks to the winding curves of the road. Be careful though!

Beautiful descent to Lake Melo from the Bocca Soglia. Good marking and good to walk. Beautiful stream and a great view of the Melosee!
