📍 Celtic House Rehlingen-Siersburg – Hands-on History This reconstructed Celtic farmstead, created from finds from the Saar-Moselle-Metz region, stands in the middle of the forest. It demonstrates how Celtic tribes lived, built, and buried their dead over 2,000 years ago. 🏡 The complex includes a residential building, burial mounds, and information panels – erected with the support of local schools, communities, and clubs. An exciting learning center with a real connection to regional history.

🌄 Stromberg – Limestone cliffs near Niederkontz A dry rock formation on the Stromberg summit – 314m high – surrounded by forest, with views of the Moselle Valley and the Luxembourg hills. A tranquil spot with an impressive panorama. Tip: Ideal on clear days – a short detour from the path is worthwhile for a nature photo with a truly striking effect.

A very beautiful route, with some slightly challenging elevation changes, but well worth it. Also worth noting are a few kilometers on quiet country roads. A must-do.
