Coming from the main road, behind the stone bridge and just below the Dolce Via, at the foot of an embankment, you'll find a wonderfully beautiful entry point for cooling off in L'Eyrieux. At this point, a small strip of sand between rocks allows you to enter the cool water. The whirlpool is included. I spent about three hours here and enjoyed every minute. Not a single person passed along the path the entire time. Wonderfully refreshing, wild water in an idyllic setting.

Even if the greenway no longer passes over the bridge, it bears witness to the work carried out at the time to avoid a scree zone. More than 100 years after its construction and after having seen hundreds of trains pass by, it is still there, and that's so much the better!

Nice bike ride from Lamastre (campsite) to St Agrève and back again 🌻 Did we drive in July 2022. Please take enough water with you and also light on the bike for the tunnel passages 🌻
