There was good vegetarian food and a delicious dessert. Hot showers are available until 6 p.m. There's no real drying room. If the hut is full and all the hikers have to dry their shoes by the fireplace, expect to have to wear wet clothes and shoes the next morning. Unfortunately, there was only one used newspaper for over 50 pairs of wet shoes 🤷

There were nine of us: five Czechs, three French women, and just me. We had a great time together that evening. Pleasant hut, but you have to bring your sleeping bag and mat.

We were very well received! Possibility to pitch a tent, WC available outside and hot shower at 3 euros for 4 minutes ;) you can also book to sleep inside and eat :)

Pure relaxation at 2,300m altitude.

Relatively large mountain shelter, with capacity for 20 people, the stone cabin is located at 2290 meters above sea level near the Sorda pond.

Refuge that is located at the top of the protected area of the Vall de Madriu and that gives us beautiful views of the valley when working towards the bottom of the valley.

Very nice people and an excellent chocolate cake. Just the thing after a tough climb. The refuge is also often used by hikers as an overnight accommodation.

The refuge feels more primative and simple than other staffed refuges along the Coronallacs trail around Andorra. The staff have curated a great space and as a solo traveller I had some great conversations with like minded people from all over Europe here. Luckily I was in a 9-bed dorm with only 2 other hikers so it wasn't too busy. The refuge is cash only and has no Wifi (although I did get sufficient mobile data signal here). It was 3 or 4 Euros for a shower token. Dinner was pasta bake followed by sausage, rice and green beans and half a tinned peach for dessert.
